If you register for membership and has been approved by STARC, you are granted access to the members-only area on the STARC Website. The pages members can access (called “browse site”) differ from member to member. They can access only the approved browse site. Registration qualifications differ from browse site to browse site.
Member Registration Flow
1. Agree on the Rules of STARC Website Membership.
You are requested to read through the Rules of STARC Website Membership and agree to the rules in the entirety.
2. Submit a registration request. (Free)
Fill in the Member Registration Form and click the Submit button. You can request a registration for browse site at the same time. Check the qualification requirements for each browse site and choose desired site. (You can also register for browse site after member registration.)
3. STARC sends you an ID and password.
STARC sends you an ID and password immediately via email. The ID and password should be stored appropriately for safekeeping.
4. STARC sends you an approval for the requested browse site.
If you requested a registration for any browse site simultaneously with a member registration, STARC will send you an email telling you whether the request was approved or denied.
5. Authorized members can now access the members-only pages.

Article 1. Rules of STARC Website Membership
You are requested to read the Rules of STARC Website Membership (“Rules”) carefully. Persons who have filled in and submitted the Member Registration Form are deemed to have agreed upon the contents of all the rules herein. (The organizations they belong to, as a whole, are not included in this agreement.) The Semiconductor Technology Academic Research Center (hereinafter “STARC”) may change the Rules herein as needed. The changes shall be considered accepted by you if you continue to use any of the services thereafter. The latest Rules are displayed at this Web page:
STARC shall use your registered personal information to 1) provide various services on the STARC Website, 2) validate your qualification for membership, 3) communicate with you regarding the above two purposes, 4) perform statistical analysis to improve the website and 5) send information about STARC-sponsored events and so on.
STARC or commissioned companies may use your registered personal information for the identified purposes.
Some of our services may be unavailable if you do not provide your personal information.
You can request us at any time to disclose, correct or delete any personal information on you that we retain. Please contact us by using the Confirmation/Correction Your Affiliation Form. (Login is required after registration)
