Read this License Agreement carefully before downloading the Semiconductor Technology Academic Research Center, Ltd., (�gSTARC�h) Language Specifications. You (�gthe User�h) may download the Language Specifications only if you agree to the restrictions imposed by this License Agreement; if you do not agree to the restrictions, do not download the Language Specifications.

License Agreement

STARC hereby grants a license free of charge to the User to use all data (�gthe documents�h) that can be downloaded upon agreement to the terms and conditions of this License Agreement. This License Agreement applies to the above documents and any and all copies based on them.

The Agreement comes into effect when the User has downloaded the documents.

Article 1. Renunciation of Warranty

1.   STARC does not warrant that use of the STARC documents does not infringe on the rights of third parties.

2.   STARC does not warrant that the STARC documents are fit for a specific purpose.

3.   STARC does not warrant that it will repair defects in the STARC documents.

Article 2. Limitation of Liability

1.   STARC bears no liability for any damage or injury whatsoever arising from the use of, or in connection with, the STARC documents, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss due to interruption of business, damage to data, hardware or software, and damage arising during download.

2.   STARC bears no duty to provide support to the User in relation to the STARC documents.

3.   STARC may, at its discretion and without notice of any kind, alter the content of, or alter or suspend the operation of, the documents.

Article 3. Restrictions on Export

1.   The User bears sole responsibility in relation to ascertaining and observing the law of all regions other than Japan concerning the import, export and use of the documents.

2.   The User is responsible for acquiring any and all licenses, permissions or approvals required by the government in order to use the documents.

Article 4. Termination and Post-termination Measures

1.   Breach of this Agreement by the User entitles STARC to terminate the Agreement immediately and without notice of any kind.

2.   On termination of this Agreement, the User forfeits the usage rights granted by STARC under the Agreement and shall return the documents to STARC, or take responsibility for deleting the documents and destroying all copies of the same.

Article 5. Entire Agreement

1.   This License Agreement constitutes the entire terms of the agreement between STARC and the User and takes precedence over any and all previous relevant agreements.

Article 6. Governing Law

1.   This Agreement is subject to the laws of Japan.
